Over the past 31 years of doing business, we have become known for our authentic camp and lake style interior design. Our master craftsman Dwayne Thompson is nationally known for his custom furniture creations. That blended with our hand-picked collection of custom fabrics, one-of-a-kind antiques and vintage pieces ensures that our clients can rest easy knowing that their Timpson Creek designed interior is uniquely their own.

Meet Our Designers

Peggie Rhodes

Peggy started working in the furniture business approximately 20 years ago while representing a major Los Angeles case goods manufacturer. As a representative of that company, she moved back to her native Florida where she served clients such as Robb & Stuckey, the Federated Group and Office Depot. From there, she joined forces with an Atlanta showroom and more than 50 furniture manufacturers to retailers and designers throughout Florida. In 1999, Peggy started her own rep group focused on high-end upholstery, case goods, paint and lighting. Peggy now works with retailers and designers across the Southeastern US and has collaborated with Timpson Creek Gallery for almost 15 years. Peggy is an avid fly-fisherwoman and golfer. She splits her time between living in the mountains of North Georgia and the coast of Southern Florida.

Cecile Thompson

Cecile travels all across the country hand selecting one-of-a-kind items that appeal to her personal tastes and that of her clientele. Cecile is a Rabun County Native. She is passionate about supporting American craftsmen and artists and focuses on promoting American made goods.

Cecile enjoys working with artists to showcase their hidden talents as well as their obvious ones. She takes a personal approach in working with her interior design clients selecting pieces and fabrics that are a reflection of each individual’s personal style.

Custom Framing

We have a complete in-house custom framing shop for all of your framing needs. We have a vast selection of custom frames, matting and a highly skilled in-house framer!

Kitty Barnett

Kitty never really intended to be a custom framer. In fact, she opened her own art gallery in 2000 with the intent to represent local artists. After a few sharp turns and moving with the flow of local need, Kitty transformed her business into a frame shop that carried art rather than an art gallery that offered framing.

She enjoys framing as an extension of artwork. She especially enjoys framing unique pieces with special needs such as sports jerseys, golf balls, base balls and even fabric pieces.

After closing her own storefront, Kitty brought her talents to Timpson Creek where she continues to enjoy her craft!
